The country?s second-largest two-wheeler maker Bajaj Auto on Saturday reported a 2.35% rise in its motorcycle sales at 3,01,361 units in January 2013. The company had sold 2,94,439 units in the corresponding month last year, Bajaj Auto Ltd (BAL) said. BAL said exports increased by 9.82% during the month at 1,28,482 units compared to 1,16,996 units in January 2012.

TVS Jan sales up marginally

TVS Motor Company recorded a marginal increase in total sales recording 175,931 units in January 2013 against 173,514 units registered in January 2012. Total two-wheeler sales for the month stood at 171,513 units as against 171,112 units in January 2012. Domestic sales in the month increased marginally from 153,104 units to 154,107 units.

Ashok Leyland Jan sales up 3%

Ashok Leyland Ltd said on Saturday that it has reported a 3% growth in its January sales to 10,561 units as compared to 10,300 units sold in January 2012, primarily driven by its LCV Dost, which netted sales of 3,698 units (1,100 units in January 2012), a growth of 236%.
