Tweets poured in for the little master Sachin Tendulkar, who is playing his 200th and final Test match against the West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The right-hander played a vintage Tendulkar knock of 74 in the first-innings of the match, and enthralled the capacity crowd with his impressive strokeplay. With a healthy first innings lead, there is very little chance that Sachin will bat again.
Tough to concentrate on our delhi-mumbai game today as the great man is batting some kilometers away at wankhede.— Gautam Gambhir (@GautamGambhir) November 15, 2013
For a man with prodigious batting talent Tendulkar still worked at his batting like he had none #FarewellSachin— Sanjay Manjrekar (@sanjaymanjrekar) November 14, 2013
Still reeling from Sachin's retirement .it was truly magical touring and playing with the genius.— Rahul Sharma (@ImRahulSharma3) November 16, 2013
Whilst a century would have been a fairytale ending, that 74 was a vintage innings by Sachin. As well as he has batted for years. #SRT200— Alan Wilkins (@alanwilkins22) November 16, 2013
