It seems that Raj Kundra has attracted a controversy by passing a rather nasty comment on Salman Khan’s popularity. Reportedly, the business tycoon and Shilpa Shetty’s husband, Raj Kundra, went on record and stated that the amount that Salman earns in a year, he earns in a month. The statement has irked many of the superstar’s loyal fans and they took to twitter to express their disappointment.
The comments have left the fans shocked and some of them have even abused Raj for his statement. In fact, the fans have even accused Raj Kundra of match fixing at IPL and have hailed Salman Khan for his charitable work. Upset with the kind of response his statement garnered, Raj Kundra too took to Twitter to clarify about it and alleged that the media has misrepresented his comments. He wrote, “To all the Senti’Mental’ lot out there in a business interview I was asked would I act I said as a businessman I am unaffordable..period!!” He further added, “I’m disappointed at today’s journalism, words r tweaked from interviews for sellable articles. I’d like to clarify I’m a businessman, not an actor!”
Raj Kundra is a successful entrepreneur and has recently ventured into Bollywood with his wife and former actress Shilpa Shetty as a producer. The duo recently released their debut production Dishkiyaoon which was also a comeback venture of Harman Baweja.
