Soon you could sympathise with your Facebook friends

Good news for those who complain that their sad updates are also liked, Facebook has considered to introduce a ‘#sympathiseButton now.

Nothing is official yet but at a hackathon last week, a few Facebook employees developed a replacement for the facebook ‘Like’ button more suitable for status updates of the sorrow feelings.

Good news for those who complain that their sad updates are also liked… instead of anybody sympathising with them, Facebook has considered to introduce a ‘#sympathiseButton now. ‘Facebook’ Engineers are still working on the design of the button.. till then. the awkward silence to be carried on for the sad updates.

Till now many believed that the ‘Like’ button on the Facebook is synonym to the ‘seen’ or the ‘roger message is conveyed’ but now we can say that the ice is about to melt as Facebook might offer a replacement for the ‘Like’ button may be ‘sympathise’ or ‘Hate’.

As The Huffington Post quotes, The social network evidently hears their complaints: During a Facebook hackathon held “a little while back,” an engineer devised a “sympathize” button that would accompany gloomier status updates, according to Dan Muriello, a different Facebook engineer who described the hackathon experiment at a company event Thursday. If someone selected a negative emotion like “sad” or “depressed” from Facebook’s fixed list of feelings, the “like” button would be relabeled “sympathize.”

So if the button becomes reality, no more message or call but a single click will convey your condolence…
