In its sixth edition, Kingfisher Calendar Hunt has gone for a makeover. The earlier seasons of the reality series featured wannabe models competing with each other to grab the title of the Kingfisher Calendar Girl. However this year, the show which has been retitled as Kingfisher Supermodels, features established models as contestants.
“This season features 10 professional models from the industry. There will be no eliminations, no intimidating drama, no brawls or cat fights. Viewers will witness breathtaking tasks and intense competition,” says the host and mentor of the show, Lisa Haydon. Some of the models that will be seen on the reality series include Merrilyn Boro, Ketholeno Kense, Aasttha Ssidana, Milica Buric among others.
This is for the second time that the model-turned-actress has associated herself with the show. “In terms of content, this is a project where I feel I have a responsibility to the models to mentor and guide them. It’s an area where I feel I have something to contribute,” says Haydon.
The current season of the reality series, which is shot at the Dusit Devrana, a New Delhi based-luxury resort, also features actors such as Aditi Rao Hydari, Milind Soman, Pallavi Sharda and designers like Suneet Verma, Reena Dhaka among others, as guests.
Meanwhile, Haydon, who was seen in films like Aisha and Rascals, has been shooting for new film projects. She reveals, “I have shot two movies, which will be set for release soon.” She refuses to divulge any details further.
