Suzuki Motor Corp. has reported to US authorities that it will recall around 102,000 vehicles marketed in the United States for free repair as their headlights may not turn on due to a defect in wiring, informed sources have said.
Subject to the recall are Forenza vehicles produced between 2004 and 2006 and Reno vehicles made between 2005 and 2006, according to the sources.
Meanwhile, Isuzu Motors Ltd and General Motors Co. are recalling over 258,000 sport-utility vehicles sold in the United States and Canada "to fix short-circuits in power-window and door-lock switches that can cause fires.
The vehicles belong to five models, including the Isuzu Ascender manufactured between 2006 and 2007. GM made the Ascender for Isuzu.
