The Indian tablet market declined by 33% in Q1 of 2014, global technology research firm IDC said on Tuesday. Tablet shipments in Q1 stood at 0.78 million units, with Bureau of Indian Standards compliance hurting the white-box or unbranded tablet manufacturers. According to IDC, the emergence of Phablets (screen size 5.5 to 6.99 inch), continues to influence consumer decisionmaking and affect tablet sales.
