Tata Motors shares on Monday hit a life-time high on the back of a strong September global group wholesale numbers on a sequential basis.
The maker of Nano and Jaguar cars saw its shares gain more than 2% in the early trade to touch a record high of Rs 393 per share on the BSE. At the end of the trading session, the stock was trading at R390.85, up 1.48%.
On a year-on-year basis, Tata Motors? global sales, including Jaguar Land Rover, declined 15.8% to 87,316 units in September against 1,03,656 units sold a year ago. Sales of the company?s luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover surged 35.6% to 35,874 units in September against 26,461 units last year.
