Tatas to sety up 3 more aerospace units in Hyderabad

The Tata group has signalled its continued commitment to Andhra Pradesh by conducting the groundbreaking ceremony for three more new aerospace manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 550 crore in addition to an existing facility through Tata Advanced Systems a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons.

The Tata group has signalled its continued commitment to Andhra Pradesh by conducting the groundbreaking ceremony for three more new aerospace manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 550 crore in addition to an existing facility through Tata Advanced Systems (TASL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons.

Announcing the fourth investment, S Ramadorai, chairman, Tata Advanced Systems, said that the three projects are Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructure, a joint venture between Tata Advanced Systems and Lockheed Martin; Tara Aerospace Systems ? a JV between Tata Advanced Systems and Sikorsky Aircraft; and Nova Integrated Systems ? a Tata enterprise. Ratan N Tata, Chairman, Tata group had announced in last November to centre all its investments in the aerospace and defence sectors at Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh.
