Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the country?s leading exporter of information technology services, has emerged as the most valued Indian company ever, reports fe Bureau in Mumbai. On Wednesday, when the shares of the IT giant touched a record high, it clocked in a market capitalisation of R5.07 lakh crore, the highest market value attained by a listed Indian company in history. With this milestone, TCS has not only overtaken the peak market value witnessed by Reliance Industries in 2008, but also boasts a far higher market value than the combined market capitalisation of the other four Indian IT majors.
