Lodha Group on Monday said it has completed acquisition of Washington House, a 30-storey tower located at Altamount Road, Mumbai, from the US Consulate for R341.82 crore. Lodha plans to develop a super-luxury, high-rise residential tower in its place. Lodha Group bought the property from the US consulate in June 2012.
According to reports, the reserve price of the property was set at R350 crore, however, global property consultants DTZ, who acted as advisor on behalf of the US Consulate, refused to confirm the details of the deal amount.
