TVS Motor Company today launched an upgraded variant of its 110cc motorcycle, the StaR City+, targeted at the mileage conscious customer claiming a mileage of 86 kms per litre.
Launching the motorcycle here today, Regional Sales Manager, Ravindra Chauhan said that Punjab market was very important for the company as it was selling about 3200 vehicles per month in this state. He said that there was potential in the market and TVS Motor Company was targeting to sell at least 1500 more vehicles every month in this state from now onwards. Chauhan said that overall market share of TVS in two wheelers sales was six per cent which the company was targeting to raise to 9 per cent this year.
TVS Motor Company that has four manufacturing plants with three in India including one at Nalagarh in Himachal Pradesh near here today claimed that the new 110 cc motorcycle comes with several new features including five step shock absorbers, digital meter console, a new eco thrust engine and all gear self-start.
