Nasscom will collaborate with UIDAI to enable larger number of entrepreneurs and firms to build technology applications on the latter’s citizen identity platform.
To be called ?Aadhaar diffusion project?, Nasscom’s Product Council will form an advisory board and undertake various programmes to evangelise the likely benefits of building technology solutions on UIDAI’s technology platform.
Addressing mediapersons here on Tuesday, UIDAI Chairman Nandan Nilekani said, ?We have built an open technology platform where one can build and create innovative applications.?
Ravi Gururaj, chairman, Nasscom product council, said, ?Aadhaar platform is ready to use and entrepreneurs are onboarding to it.?
On the future plans of Aadhaar, Nilekani said they have achieved some of the goals set over three-and-half-years ago.
