The UK High Commission in Delhi has been receiving emails threatening British PM David Cameron for the last few months. Police said the Delhi Cyber Cell has traced the sender to Pataudi. Gurgaon police sources said Delhi Police had approached them last week to ascertain the sender’s location.
According to police, the person who is a graduate from Cambridge University had been deported from the UK to India around six months ago for allegedly sending such emails to the UK High Commission.
After his deportation, the man continued to send the emails, sources said. Gurgaon police sources said Delhi Police, IB and Diplomatic Security Force, were conducting a probe.
“The person calls himself mentally unstable. Delhi Police will probably get him examined. He has not been arrested yet,” the source said.
