Diageo-controlled United Spirits (USL) has again postponed the publication of its FY14 earnings, with its board seeking certain clarifications on draft financial statements and related issues during a meeting on Friday. The company had, a month ago, sought additional time to finalise the results, citing enquires on how to treat certain loans, including one to co-promoter United Breweries Holdings (UBHL), in its books.
The company said in a filing to BSE: ?As the furnishing of clarifications and information sought by the audit committee would require some time, the board decided to adjourn the meeting to a later date for consideration and approval of draft financial results,? it said.
