Videocon Mobiles on Thursday launched its latest 3G calling tablet, the Videocon VT85C, in the budget tablet category at a price of Rs 8,999.

With a 7-inch capacitive display, the Videocon VT85C is powered by 1.2 dual core cortex A9 processor and has a 3000 mAh battery. The Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) enabled tablet, has 1024 x 600 screen resolution, 1GB RAM and 4GB ROM (Approx 1.3GB user, which is expandable up to 32 GB. The budget tablet category is expected to reach 182 million end-user devices by the end of 2013 as forecasted by Gartner.
