Following the exit of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Division India director Arvind Saxena, the German carmaker announced that Thierry Lespiaucq will replace Saxena as the managing director of Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited from May 1. Lespiaucq (58), is currently serving as Volkswagen brand director, Volkswagen de Mexico. Mahesh Kodumudi, the president and managing director of Volkswagen India has been promoted and will take the additional charge of group chief representative for the Volkswagen Group in India with immediate effect. Kodumudi (48), was the president & managing director of Volkswagen India.
