Kashmiri 'Rista' and 'Lauki Nazakat' figured as part of the spread at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the dinner of the new council of ministers headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The dinner also included 'Punjabi Kadi Pakora', 'Bedami Aaloo', a Brij delicacy, 'Bharwa Tinda' (round gourd), 'Sitaphal ki Sabzi' (Pumpkin) and 'Keoti Daal' ( mix of lentils).
For non-vegetarians, 'Rista'(meatballs), a delicacy of Kashmir, figured prominently along with 'Galoti Kebab', 'Patrani macchi' (a Parsi dish) and 'Murg Korma' (Chicken).
The guests were served vegetable corn soup for starters and pineapple 'halwa' and 'jalebi with rabri' as sweet dish at the end.
