ICAI IPCC final exam result 2017: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in a notification on its official websites icaiexam.icai.org and icai.nic.in, has announced the results of Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) Course. Over 2 lakh candidates appeared for IPCC examination that took place last year in November at 419 exam centres. IPCC is the first stage of the chartered accountancy curriculum wherein only working knowledge of core and allied subjects to accountancy profession is covered. At the Final course, advanced application knowledge of core and allied subjects to accountancy profession has been intended to be inculcated.
This year, Jay Sheth from Ahmedabad has emerged as the topper. He secured all India rank (AIR) 1, reported the Indian Express. Kolkata’s Susarla Aravind Jayaram secured the second position number, while Simran Kessar from Navi Mumbai has grabbed the third position. The overall pass percentage stood at 26.72 per cent. In group I, a total of 72148 candidates appeared for the exam of which 10042 have cleared, taking the pass percent at 13.92 per cent. In group II, 65393 aspirants have sat for the IPCC exam, however, 13330 students have passed the exam (20.38 per cent), reported the Indian Express.
In order to develop a strong theoretical base, students of Intermediate (IPC) Course have registered through CPT route or the students who have passed Intermediate level examination of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India or The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, are required to undergo eight months study course before appearing for the first time in the IPC examination. The result of which were announced on January 28 on the official website.
How to check ICAI IPCC results 2017?
Students who had appeared for ICAI IPCC examination last year in November, can follow the steps mentioned below to check their result:
Step 1: Log on to the official website of the ICAI – icai.nic.in OR icaiexam.icai.org OR caresults.icai.org
Step 2: Home page will appear. On the home page, click on the link that says – ‘Intermediate (IPC) Examination’
Step 3: A new page will open where the students will be asked to enter your roll number or PIN number along with your roll number in the space provided.
Step 4: Click on ‘Submit’ or press ‘Enter’
Step 5: The result will be displayed. Take a print out and keep it for the future purpose.
