Bollywood Top Grossers: Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chennai Express' tops the list while Hrithik Roshan's 'Krrish 3' continue to create history

Reaching the coveted Rs 100 crore mark has become a must for every big budget film in Bollywood. In the report, we take a look at some of the biggest hits that have reached the Rs100 crore mark segregating them on the basis of the number of days taken to get there. Courtesy: Bollywood Hungama
Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express is now the fastest film to reach the 100 cr mark, in just 4 days. The film continues to climb up in its lifetime collections of 227.13 cr.
Salman Khan, who ruled the 100 cr club, continues to have two films, though released in 2012, in Top 5, namely Ek Tha Tiger (198.78 cr)and Dabangg 2 (155.00 cr).
And now, the Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3, has become the latest film to enter the Rs. 100 cr club collecting Rs. 153.08 cr in just four days. Interestingly the film, even created history by registering the highest single-day collections ever (a Monday) of Rs. 35.91 cr.
The most surprising entry to this club however is Indra Kumar's Grand Masti. It is the first film ever from the adult comedy genre to have made it to the Rs 100 club. Grand Masti's total collection is 102 crore till date.
Farhan Akhtar's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone starrer 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani have registered total earning of 108.93 and 107.61 crore respectively. (AP)
