Auriga Restaurant and Lounge, Mahalaxmi will be launching revamped Pan-Asian menu on 18th June, 2014 - Auriga offers a perfect place for entertaining, corporate gatherings, casual luncheons, dinners and even black tie soirees. The latest menu will offer a lavish spread of delicacies from countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Burma, Indonesia, Mongolia, and China. Auriga’s contemporary Pan-Asian menu is a playful and artistic mélange of Asian flavors presented in Western style.
The new additions to the menu include a variety of Vietnamese and Korean dishes. Auriga serves Kimchi as starter, which acts as a hunger booster to prepare you for an evening of delectable dishes. Try the innovative Vietnamese tamarind soup followed by glass noodle & Scallion salad. Taking cue from finer details, Auriga has pinned down delicious and scrumptious dumplings with interesting fillings which are put into covers prepared with tapioca flour that makes them healthier and tastier. Auriga’s new signature liquor infused dessert; ‘Hot Kahlua Chocolate Souffle’ is perfectly blended to hit the right note on the taste buds. Unlike most of the restaurants that serve mint towards the end of the meal, Auriga offers the healthy green tea for a refreshing after taste. The tea is steeped in luxuriant combination of fruit and flower flavors that lulls you into a relaxed state.
Auriga’s Kritika Nagpal says, “Auriga has always aimed at being class apart in terms of its ambience, quality of food and entertainment. We have redefined our menu with new offerings. While we have been catering to the needs of our vegetarian audience, we have further enhanced our offerings for the health conscious and introduced a Salad section and wider choices in the soup and dumpling section.”
Celebrity Chef Vaibhav Mahajan adds, "We have included a Korean speciality called Bibimbap to our new menu which originates from the traditional practice of mixing all the food offerings. The chef actually comes to the table and assembles the dish in front of you. Bibimbap is served in a very hot stone bowl and the vegetables commonly used in this dish include julienned cucumber, zucchini, mushrooms, doraji , gim, spinach, soybean sprouts, and gosari. Tofu, plain or sautéed, a leaf of lettuce, chicken/ seafood/ beef are also a part of the ingredient mix. This dish is healthy, looks tempting due to the way different coloured veggies and meat are placed adjacent each other.” Auriga’s menu offers refreshing drinks, lip-smacking soups, salads, appetisers, dumpings, main course, rice/ noodles, delectable desserts and unique flavours of green tea which act as a perfect palate cleanser at the end of the meal.
