Bipasha Basu tied up with Reebok and launched her clothing line, BBLoveYourself and then followed it up with a fitness DVD called Love Yourself – A fit and fabulous you. Basu has recently collaborated with The Label Corp, and launched an online accessory store Trunklabel.
Sunil Shetty launched two ventures in early January R House Store, a lifestyle store in Worli in Mumbai that houses high-end quality home décor products, and Discover which comprises a set of 21 villas in old Khandala. Both were developed by his wife Mana Shetty.
Hrithik Roshan who’s known to score a perfect ten when it comes to making a style statement, has gone a step ahead and launched his own brand called HRX. The actor has joined hands with an online shopping portal, Myntra.com, to launch and manufacture the products for HRX.
While Shah Rukh Khan is involved with a number of business ventures already, this year, he launched Kidzania in Mumbai.The actor has 26 per cent share in the company, and will be helping to promote the brand in India. There are plans to launch Kidzania in cities like Delhi and Bangalore.
Actor John Abraham was supposed to buy a 13 per cent stake in the Delhi hockey team, but the actor eventually bought a larger stake, and is now the co-owner of the Delhi Waveriders. The actor will be seen supporting the team from the sidelines in the second edition of the tournament that starts from January 25.
While Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation has been there for years, it is only this year that the actor launched the Being Human store. Though, Being Human is essentially a charitable organisation, the actor has plans to venture into
other avenues of business too, under the same name, for a noble cause.
Despite achieving a top slot with back-to-back hits this year, Deepika Padukone has been flexing her business muscles too. The actress collaborated with apparel brand Van Heusen to create a limited edition of a clothing line.
