Intex IT-400: Intex Technologies introduced two new variants of over the ear headphones IT-400 and IT-213. Intex said that the new products are aesthetically designed for comfort combined with premium stereo sound performance. IT-400 comes in vivid colours of grey and blue coupled with an adjustable microphone and volume control to boost stereo sound output. IT-213 on the other hand is a smart headphone, which can be easily plugged into an Ipod, MP3, CD and a laptop or desktop. It is equipped with a power bass for excellent stereo voice and provides supreme quality sound experience.
Xolo Q600s: Xolo, the Indian smartphone maker announced the launch of Xolo Q600s, another addition in sub-Rs 10K-range with latest Android 4.4 Kitkat. The device sports a 4.5-inch (960×540 pixels) qHD IPS display with one glass solution and full lamination. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Broadcom quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone also features a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash, VGA front-facing camera, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded and a 2,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support Bluetooth and GPS. Xolo Q600s is priced at Rs 8,499.
Portonics Scanny 6: Portonics announced the launch of its first Wi-Fi portable scanner ‘Scanny 6 Wi-Fi’. The device pairs with any mobile phone/ Tablet or laptop having a Wi-Fi connection; using a browser or an Android / iOS App. It scans and then sends the data instantly via wi-fi to the Wi-Fi scan app on the computer, where one can organize, create searchable PDFs or send images to the cloud. It can also send scans directly (wirelessly) to iOS and Android devices with an included App. It comes with a 700 mAh battery which has the capacity to scan more than 500 pages in one go.It is priced at Rs 7,999.
Nokia 225: Aimed at connecting the next billion to Internet in the country, Microsoft Devices unveiled its latest affordable handset — Nokia 225 — priced at Rs 3,329. The slim device, which will be available in both single and dual SIM versions, underlines the company’s commitment to connect the next billion to the Internet, Nokia said in a statement. The Nokia 225 offers affordable internet access through the cloud-powered Nokia Xpress Browser on a 2.8-inch display. It also features 2MP camera, 1200 mAh battery, FM radio, is MP3 compatible and offers up to 32GB micro SD card support.
