1The job: I enjoy the challenges my job throws up every day?BlackBerry is an iconic brand and the journey to get it back to its iconic status is the most interesting journey yet! While I don?t dislike anything specific about my job, I do not like environments which are not collaborative. I don?t believe in the thinking that something will not work because it has not worked before. I believe that the way we execute a task itself can be a big differentiation and usually push my teams and partners to push themselves.
2The weekdays: Weekdays usually begin at 6 am with a run in the morning. I look forward to my 15 minutes in the morning with my daughter as she gets ready to go to school. During the course of the day, along with usual internal meetings, what gets me excited is meeting customers and partners. They always give a fresh perspective?and the interactions often leave me with great ideas and possible areas of improvement. During the day, I take a 30-minute light lunch break?this is my recharge and reflection time. The work day usually ends at 8 pm.
3The weekend: Weekends are usually reserved for reading, running and spending quality time with family. The weekend usually starts with a 10km run?usually trying out a new track to run. I make it a habit to read a book most weekends. The best time is taking my daughter to a park ( as opposed to a mall )?we have covered most parks in and around Delhi / NCR. I would highly recommend the Lodhi garden for hours of fun and play!
4sThe toys: My BlackBerry. I am a die-hard QWERTY loyalist?and have been on a BlackBerry for over 10 years. My BlackBerry runs my life?from emails, calendars and reminders?to my personal and social life. I still get a sense of completion on typing my email out on the physical keyboard!! The other gadget that gets my adrenaline going are German cars?my best and most relaxing times have been in my beamer?a long drive on an open stretch often gives a sense of soothing.
5The logos: Usually I gravitate towards Louis Philippe and Arrow for my formal attire, Nautica and Gant for semi-formal/casual dressing and Diesel for denims. Suits are usually from Boggi.
