?I?ll run the risk of being clich?d but my favourite campaigns are the Zoozoo campaign from Ogilvy and the Airtel- ?Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai? from Taproot,? says Raylin Valles, creative director at DDB Mudra Delhi.
?Zoozoo was cult! The Airtel campaign made everyone fall in love with the brand. It captured the spirit of today?s youth brilliantly. Again, executed well and the music was wow! What?s more is that they were both contagious,? he adds.

Valles is not a fan of the Nissan Sunny campaign — ?It?s not just a car. It?s a caaar?. He says, ?In my opinion, it?s also not funny, it?s not smart and it?s definitely not memorable (in the right way).? The other campaign he does not like is the latest Colgate ad with Rahul Bose and Mahesh Bhupathi. ?I just don’t get it. Why would Colgate have a research guy interview celebrities outside a gym, at a race track and expect people to believe in it,? he says.
My first tv ad
?My first TV commercial took two years and me moving to another country (being an art director in India was not easy). It was for KFC. I treated every frame like a print ad. Fought with my director. Became friends with my client. Ate a lot of chicken. And didn?t take a cut.?
Raylin Valles is currently working with the DDB Mudra Group in Delhi as a creative director. He joined DDB Mudra in 2010. He started his career in JWT Delhi as an art director.
After that he worked at Saatchi & Saatchi, New Zealand. He than went on to work in Grey, Bangkok and BBDO in Malaysia before returning back to India. After this he joined Publicis India. Delhi.
Valles has won numerous awards at D&AD, Cannes Lions, One Show, Spikes, Adfest, Effies, Goafest Abbys and AME. His portfolio includes national and international brands like Aviva, Maggie, Nestea , HP, KFC, Pepsi, Olympus, Wrigley, P&G, Toyota, Philips, HBO, Sara Lee, Amnesty and Heineken among others.
