Chicago Booth to expand footprint in Asia

The University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business will relocate its Asia Executive MBA programme from Singapore to Hong Kong in a move to expand and strengthen the school?s presence and influence across the region, while continuing a robust presence in Singapore.

Beginning in 2014, Chicago Booth?s faculty will begin teaching MBA classes at the new location to corporate and organisational leaders from across Asia, North America and Europe. ?Asia is a critical region to University of Chicago faculty, students and alumni, and the University brings its distinctive intellectual approach to the region in many ways,? said Robert J Zimmer, president of the University of Chicago. ?By establishing programming in Hong Kong, Chicago Booth takes an important step in this growing engagement.?

KVS celebrates 50 years; opens ?Travelling Photo Exhibition?

As part of the ongoing year-long activities of its golden jubilee celebrations, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), launched the first of the 14 travelling photo exhibitions at Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts in New Delhi. It was inaugurated by Jitin Prasada, minister of state, HRD, in the presence of Avinash Dikshit, commissioner, KVS. The exhibition will showcase the journey of KVS from 20 schools to 1,093 vidyalayas.
