Ford India resumes bookings of Ford EcoSport

Ford India introduced the EcoSport on June 26, 2013, and received 30,000 bookings within 17 days.

Ford India today announced that it has re-opened bookings for all variants of its compact sports utility vehicle Ford EcoSport.

The automaker had stopped taking bookings for the EcoSport because of heavy demand. Since its launch, Ford EcoSport has received good response from customers and garnered record bookings, says the automaker in a statement.

?With 50,000 EcoSports delivered, we have significantly reduced the waiting period and are pleased to extend the opportunity to book the Ford EcoSport to more customers,? said Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director of Marketing Sales and Service at Ford India.

Ford India introduced the EcoSport on June 26, 2013, and received 30,000 bookings within 17 days.

The 1.5-litre petrol variant of the popular Ford EcoSport is now available at a price between Rs 6.14 lakh and Rs 8.97 lakh. The 1.5-litre diesel option is priced from Rs 7.19 lakh to Rs 9.48 lakh.

The 1-litre petrol variant with Ecoboost technology ranges from Rs 8.43 lakh to Rs 8.95 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi)
