Gujarat chief minister and BJP?s Prime Ministerial candidate for the 2014 general elections Narendra Modi has emerged as the most talked about topic by Facebook users in India this year. The Reserve Bank of India governor Raghuram Rajan came in as the fourth most talked about person on Facebook after Sachin Tendulkar, who retired from cricket last month, and Apple?s iPhone 5S that was launched in India in November.
India?s successful Mars mission, Mangalyaan, came in the fifth most talked subject on the social network, Facebook India said on Monday.
Facebook has culled out the topics from the term references and hashtags that it introduced as a feature this year.
