Interest rate futures (IRF) made their debut on the BSE on Tuesday, with a turnover of nearly Rs 468 crore, signalling a strong investor response to the product. BSE garnered a total of Rs 467.86 crore with 23,294 traded volume contracts in IRFs on the first day.

This is IFC?s second tap-rupee bond issuance, after it first sold a Rs 1,000 crore global rupee bond in November.
