Interest rate futures (IRF) made their debut on the BSE on Tuesday, with a turnover of nearly Rs 468 crore, signalling a strong investor response to the product. BSE garnered a total of Rs 467.86 crore with 23,294 traded volume contracts in IRFs on the first day.
Sebi confirms interim order against Karvy
Sebi has passed a final order against Karvy Stock Broking and Karvy Depository Participant, prohibiting the entities from opening new client accounts for 18 months for their alleged role in certain irregularities in initial public offers.
IFC bags Rs 300 cr more from rupee bond sale The World Bank Group lender IFC on Tuesday said it has raised Rs 300 crore from its global rupee bond sale, following the successful sale of its previous Rs 1,000- crore issue. This is IFC’s second tap-rupee bond issuance, after it first sold a Rs 1,000 crore global rupee bond in November.
