If you are a superstar, then, along with the spotlight, comes the attention of a million prying eyes. And every single move, be it your own or of those associated with you comes under scrutiny. Well, this is exactly the case with Shah Rukh Khan, whose driver Rajendrakumar Gautam aka Pintu Mishra was arrested yesterday for raping a minor girl.
Pintu, a resident of Andheri (East), befriended a 17 year old girl who worked as a maid at the house of a Bollywood actress. Later, under pretext of getting her a better paying job at SRK’s house, Pintu convinced the minor to quit her job and accompany him to Nalasopara. Once there, he took her to a hotel and ensued to rape her, and even threatened her of dire consequences if she comes out in the open.
The devastated girl, who had come to Mumbai from her hometown Latur only five months ago, later filed a case in Bandra Police station. Post the complaint, Pintu was arrested and been charged under Section 376 (Rape) of the IPC. He will be produced in the Sessions Court today.
