Future Generali Life Insurance has launched two new individual products, Future Generali Bima Gain and Future Generali Pension Guarantee. Bima Gain is a non-participating, unit-linked, single-premium plan that provides insurance up to 10 times the single premium. Available to customers aged 8-65 years, the policy allows the insured the flexibility to switch investments in funds. It allows partial withdrawals after the completion of a 5-year lock-in. The second plan, Pension Guarantee, offers a maturity sum assured and accrued bonus. With the vesting age 40-80 years, people aged 20?70 years can avail themselves of this plan. The premiums for the pension plan can be paid on a monthly (ECS), half-yearly or yearly basis, with a minimum annualised premium of R11,000. The premium paid under both these products is eligible for tax benefits under the provisions of Section(s) 80C and 10(10)D of the Income Tax Act.

Aegon Religare launches guaranteed online plan

Aegon Religare Life Insurance has launched iGuarantee online insurance plan, which offers customers steady returns over the medium term while minimising risk. At the end of the policy term, the customer gets an annual return equal to 135% of the premium paid for a period of six years. The three-question proposal form doesn?t require any medical examination. In case of death of the life assured during the policy term of six years, the nominee will receive higher of 10 times the annual premium and 105% of all the premiums paid. However, if death occurs during the pay-out period, the remaining guaranteed pay-outs will be paid to the nominee. Moreover, the policy doesn?t lapse if the premium is paid for at least a year ? it continues with the paid-up sum assured. The plan offers tax benefits under Section 80C and 10(10D). The minimum annual premium for less than 40 years of age
